Description

POSITION TITLE:   Trainer

   DEPARTMENT:   Lean & Training

         LOCATION:   Leominster

 POSITION TYPE:   Exempt

 

FUNCTION

 

Assist with the operation and success of AIS University, professional development, and use of our LMS.

 

  • High focus on teaching all facets of Lean Manufacturing.  Making tough concepts simpler to understand

and apply directly to workplace

  • Searching for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity
  • Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance training session success
  • Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training
  • Leading programs to assist employees "idea generation" as well as drive Kaizen activity directly
  • Help manage activities of factory Trainers - machine and process training
  • Conducting orientation programs and arranging on-the-job training for new hires
  • Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary
  • Assist with maintaining the employee certification program
  • New hire progress follow-up, surveys, data analysis

Requirements

 
  • Bilingual (Spanish a must)
  • Experience in a Mfg environment
  • Experience training factory level as well as manager level employees
  • Experience with Lean methodology
  • Passionate with Strong communication skills
  • MS Office suit knowledge
