Production Control Job Description:

Job Title: Production Control (PC)

Hours: 8:30AM – 5PM

Skills Required:

  1. Strong communication skills
  2. Ability to work well under pressure.
  3. Teamwork skills.
  4. Basic information technology skills.
  5. Knowledge of AIS Apps/Reports.
  6. Knowledge of AIS parts, part #’s, production capacities, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Review back order reports daily. Document back orders, causes, estimated completion dates, CSR info, part #'s, quantities, departments, etc.

2. Phaseware Tickets: monitor & answer daily requests--production date pull-ins/pushouts.

3. Pack Label Exception Report: Review daily for discrepancies.

4. Release orders to factory.

5. Correct/add/purge labels for departments when requested.

6. Attend critical list meeting--review material/inventory issues.

7. Work with Engineering and/or IT to fix paperwork/label issues.

8. Monitor same day rushes. Update priority codes & communicate to Shipping/FedEx Department.

9. Enter notes on production paperwork.

10. Expedite product through production for Shipping, Customer Service, Project Management.

11. Expedite WIP labels to & from departments.

12. Help pull rush orders if necessary.

13. Assist Fedex parcel shipment department as needed.
