Road Service Technician II

Reports To:  Operations Manager   

Labor Classification:  Non-Exempt  

Regular Work Schedule:  7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday  

 

Position Summary: 

Triumph seeks a Road Technician II to join a highly motivated operations team. This individual should have strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment while maintaining our quality standards, using the most cost-effective methods to make the cleaning, demo, changeovers, retrofitting, and upgrades to Triumph’s units.  

 

Core Functions and Responsibilities:   

  • Follow detailed processes to assemble, inspect, and install furniture, modular wall systems, generators, and any ancillary products on job sites and in warehouse.
  • Deliver and install ancillary items (VAPS), i.e., desks, chairs, file cabinets, whiteboards, walls, stairs, ramps, etc. 
  • Ensures all tasks are performed promptly and cost-effectively, consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.    
  • Operate any company vehicle and equipment in a safe, appropriate manner. 
  • Responsible for adhering to company safety policies and procedures. 
  • Make sure all tasks, whether it is a building to go on rent or a company initiative, are completed in a timely fashion. 
  • Cleans and maintains furniture products and materials. 
  • Keeps an accurate inventory of all materials and inventory products.
  • Moves buildings around the yard for efficient lot placement.   
  • To deliver and repair temporary stairs for modular and mobile office units.  
  • Back up to Shop Technicians: i.e., assist in readying building and quality control for units to go on rent. 
  • Responds to service calls for office trailers, office buildings, and containers throughout New England as needed.
  • Performs minor carpentry.
  • *Other Duties as assigned  

 

Requirements & Qualifications  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant/ related type work 
  • Excellent Driving record 
  • Pass DOT Med card 

 

Physical Requirements   

  • Able to lift 50lbs or more  
  • Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and get into awkward positions while maintaining equipment  
  • Ability to work in a high noise and dust level environment    

Certifications  

  • OSHA 10
