Operations Foreman

Reports To:  Operations Manager   

Regular Work Schedule:  7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday  

Managerial/Supervisory:  Supervise Shop Technicians  

 

Position Summary: 

Triumph is seeking a Shop Foreman to join a highly motivated operations team. This role will be primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all operations activities, ensuring operation functions meet company standards and are performed in a consistently cost-effective, timely manner.  

  

Core Functions and Responsibilities:   

  • Manages and oversees all operations activities; ensures that all operations functions are performed promptly and cost-effectively, consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.    
  • Operate any company vehicle and equipment in a safe, appropriate manner. 
  • Be a champion of safety for the company. Bring awareness to peers and management for best safety practices.   
  • Responsible for quality control of all units prepared under your purview.  
  • Conduct regular team meetings.  
  • Create a ‘team culture’ that manages employees’ needs and wants with a practical and business approach.  
  • Review upcoming orders with Shop Technicians.  
  • Schedule and supervise varying phases of production.   
  • Assist in development of methods of readying office trailers/modular buildings.  
  • Assist with loading and offloading of any materials.   
  • Ability to deliver and install ancillary items (VAPS) i.e. desks, chairs, file cabinets, whiteboards, walls, stairs, ramps etc.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree or 3-5 Years relevant/ related type work.  
  • 3-year minimum of supervisory responsibility.  
  • Light carpentry and construction trade skills  

Physical Requirements:   

  • Able to lift 50lbs or more   
  • Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and get into awkward positions while maintaining equipment   
  • Ability to work in a high noise and dust level environment   

   

Certifications:   

  • OSHA 10
