Are you the dynamic, qualified self-starter we are looking for to serve as our next Assistant Treasurer/Collector? Maynard’s Assistant Treasurer/Collector performs supervisory and complex technical and clerical work assisting our Treasurer/Collector in the management of town funds, tax collections and utility bills, issuance/funding of all checks including processing payroll/deductions, and day-to-day supervision of Treasurer/Collector’s office staff.  

Knowledge of municipal procedures and related laws, cash handling/controls, strong communication skills, and strong computer/software skills (spreadsheets, financial).  Harpers payroll experience preferred. Degree in accounting or related field as well as 4 years in municipal government finance or related financial field or equivalent combination of education and experience to fulfill essential job functions.
