ROLLSTONE BANK & TRUST DONATES $10,000 TO GINNY’S HELPING HAND TO SUPPORT GROWING FOOD PANTRY OPERATION
Leominster/Fitchburg, MA (April 20, 2022) – Rollstone Bank & Trust has made a $10,000 donation to Ginny's Helping Hand in Leominster, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the less fortunate. Funds will go towards enhancing Ginny's ability to meet the increasing needs of the community with food, clothing, and other daily basics for people in need.
“Ginny’s provides an invaluable service to our community, helping people who find themselves at challenging moments of their lives,” said Martin F. Connors, Jr., President & CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “No one in our community should go hungry or have other basic needs go unfulfilled. We are proud to support the work they do year after year.”
Ginny’s Helping Hand has been providing support for the citizens of Leominster and its surrounding communities for over 40 years. Through their Food Pantry, Ginny’s has provided food to over 1,000 people per month, on average. Recently, the organization has seen an increase to over 1,400 per month.
In addition to its food pantry, Ginny’s Helping Hand also collects lightly used clothing and household goods.
