is looking for qualified homeowners!
Habitat NCM is building two three-bedroom, 1,200 square foot affordable homes compatible with the character of the neighborhood on Newton St. in Ayer, MA. The homes will be two story townhouses. They will be owner-occupied, with a mortgage of approximately $247,000.00 or approximately $1242.00 per month depending on household income.
You may be eligible to buy a Habitat house:
Are you currently living in inadequate or unsafe housing?
Do you have a steady income, but not enough to qualify for a standard mortgage?
(Example: Income for a family of 4 is approximately $49,000.00 - $98,000.00 annually)
Do you pay your bills on time? Is your debt paid regularly?
Are you willing to work hard with Habitat volunteers to help build a home?
Less than perfect credit or lack of savings may not prevent qualification for a Habitat mortgage.
