Bank appears for seventh time on The Boston Globe Top Places to Work list
(Leominster, Mass.) Fidelity Bank today announced it has recently received recognition related to client and colleague satisfaction from The Boston Globe and Newsweek.
For the seventh time, Fidelity Bank was listed on The Boston Globe Top Places to Work list in the “Top medium-size employers in Massachusetts” category. The list, which included an employee engagement survey by Energage, focused on how colleagues rated the Bank on leadership, values, training, benefits, and other metrics.
“Our LifeDesign promise of providing care, clarity and confidence to our clients extends to our colleagues,” said Dee Sendrowksi, chief human resources officer, Fidelity Bank. “We take great care to ensure colleagues receive robust professional development opportunities and unique work-life balance programs to bring out the best in each colleague while ensuring they are achieving success at work and at home.”
Among the Bank’s many programs are the “buddy program” for new hires to encourage camaraderie with more seasoned employees to ask questions and offer support. The Bank also recently implemented shortened hourlong and half-hour meetings by 15 minutes to provide colleagues the opportunity to check email, grab a cup of coffee or take a bathroom break.
In addition to the Top Places to Work list, the Bank was also recently recognized by Newsweek as one of “America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2025.” In partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, Newsweek recognized top regional banks and credit unions in the United States by conducting a large-scale study based on the analysis of over 9,000 institutions, more than 70,000 customer surveys and millions of social media reviews.
“Regional banks and credit unions are the financial backbone of communities nationwide as they support small businesses, fund local projects, and ensure easy access to essential banking services. Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A Insights are proud to introduce ‘America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2025,’ highlighting companies utilizing a community- and customer-centric approach to make a big financial impact in their neighborhoods,” said Nancy Cooper, global editor in chief, Newsweek.
