Job Full Description
We are recruiting for a Box Truck Driver/Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. This role is responsible for delivering materials and products between local company locations in Massachusetts and supporting material transfers, inventory control, and production operations.
 
Responsibilities:

• Handle box truck deliveries within a 150-mile radius, following safety, route planning, and documentation procedures
• Pick, move, and stage materials using forklifts and warehouse management system
• Load and unload box truck safely; deliver materials within a 150-mile radius
• Complete daily documentation and data entry accurately and on time
• Inspect and maintain truck and warehouse equipment in safe working condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company quality standards.
• Maintain organized warehouse areas and ensure FIFO inventory practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of forklift/materials handling experience in manufacturing (food/beverage industry preferred)
• Previous experience driving a 26,000-lb. box truck.
• Valid MA Class D driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly.
