You will be reporting to the Director of EHS and Service Engineering. The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager will manage efforts to develop an excellent EHS program that spans a wide-ranging organization.
Success in your role will work with people across all departments and across all levels of the company. It will also require curiosity to understand new processes.
This is a full-time role. You will be based in our location in Devens, MA. This is an in-person, onsite position with a 25% travel requirement.
Main Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, physics, chemistry, biology, engineering discipline, or safety and occupational health
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in EHS with international exposure and 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or operations settings
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local safety and environmental laws and regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FAA, and other applicable local requirements)
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing line and R&D efforts including work under chemical hoods
- 2+ Years of experience in a management position
- Experience developing Management Systems based on ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Create measurable metrics to demonstrate the successful implementation and maintenance of EHS programs
- Manage hazardous materials handling and disposal and facilities waste management and environmental compliance
- Experience leading incident investigations with management
- Build and implement an environmental emissions monitoring program across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
