NOW HIRING: Full-Time Police Officer 
Join the Shirley Police Department (Middlesex County, MA) 
We are a proactive, community-focused agency committed to modern policing and public service.
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma (required)
College degree in Criminal Justice or related field (preferred)
Completion of a Full-Time MPTC/MCJTC Police Academy, as well as POST Certification or be able to get certified.
Compensation & Benefits:Starting salary: $65,000–$80,408 (based on experience). Does not include the additional compensation for shift differential, holidays, education stipends, OIC pay, etc.
Education incentives & additional stipends
Narcan stipend: $500 | EMT stipend: $750
Evening/midnight shift differential & Officer-in-Charge pay
Regular detail rate: $68.44/hour
Premium detail rate: $102.66/hour (Sundays, holidays, 11pm–7am, and emergency details)
4-on / 2-off schedule
75/25 health coverage, short & long-term disability
12 holidays a year and paid based on the current CBA.
Earned sick time, 12 days a year/96 hour.
Earned comp time up to 72 hours annually
Uniform allowance: $1,750
Vacation accrual: • 40 hours after 3 months • 40 hours after 9 months • 80 hours at 1-year anniversary • 80 hours annually from year 1 through year 5.
