The Ayer Police Department - COIN is seeking applications to fill multiple positions in a municipal JDP Team
The NW Middlesex County Community Outreach Initiative Network (COIN) is a 9-town collaborative serving Ashby, Ayer, Boxborough, Dunstable, Groton, Littleton, Shirley, Townsend, and Westford. This is a Jail Diversion Program that aims to support individuals in crisis by giving them access to mental health, substance use, or community-based resources both in the moment of crisis and post 911 call to services. Our team of well-rounded mental health supports provides outreach and co-response services across the nine towns with the goal of taking pressure off the 911 system and increasing access to appropriate services.
