The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFML)
MASSACHUSETTS’ EMPLOYERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE NEW PFML LAW STARTING JULY 1, 2019.
The Massachusetts PFML law applies to every private employer with employees in Massachusetts; even employers with just ONE employee. Although employees are not able to take paid leave until 2021, employers must act now. Employers need to provide notices to employees and, in many cases 1099-MISC Contractors, by June 30th, 2019.
The Pepperell Business Association (PBA) is proud to sponsor this important event and attendance is open to all business owners, self-employed individuals, and 1099 contractors.
