Hello Friends,
The December meeting will be a holiday Potluck. We will also be creating a beautiful festive craft for yourself or for a gift. We are suggesting members bring a dish to share, reply to me if you plan to bring a dish.
Instead of doing a Yankee Swap this year, in the spirit of the holidays let's all bring a gift for Toys for Tots, unwrapped. Older boys and girls are always in need of gifts.
For our craft section of the evening...
Alexandra Turner, or Alix, know her has many interests including her passion for all things natural and beautiful. An award-winning designer, Alix specializes in event design with a focus on floral work. She is pleased by the trend towards ‘green’ standards in the floral industry and is committed to supporting it through exceptional designs, and ‘new’ ideas and products designed for minimal impact to our environment. --
Join us to create a modern, natural, rustic holiday arrangement designed to be perfect for your niche: maybe an entry table, a mantel, a dining table -or even better yet- a gift!
This long-lasting arrangement will be fresh and brighten your space well after the New Year. Materials include rustic wood container, high quality fairy lights, mixed greens, berries, cones, and all things holidays. In addition to the materials, you will take home the priceless gift of pro tips you can use every year.
The sample is merely a suggestion, real materials vary. There will be a fee for materials: Members $20.00, non-members $25.00. We are capping the registrations to 25 people.
