Join us for a unique farm workshop showcasing wool that was sheared from our own Gibbet Hill sheep. 2D needle felting is process of applying carded wool onto fabric to create a piece of art, 'painting with wool'.
In this workshop, participants will work with raw wool to learn the steps involved in processing the wool so that it is suitable for needle felting. Afterwards, participants will create a 'painting' with the carded wool. All supplies will be provided.
For ages 12 and over, however due to the sharpness of the needles used in the felting process, we request that children be supervised by an adult.
Price per person includes a thoughtfully prepared, snack box of crudite, dips, and breads.
The class will be held rain or shine on the farm. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather, and wear shoes appropriate for the weather and sturdy enough for walking in and around the farm.
