As a senior business adviser of the MSBDC at Clark University for the past seven years, Cheryl provides counseling to small businesses in all stages of business ownership from startup to exit strategies. Areas include idea stage exploration, defining concept and sustainability, financial planning, business and product development, access to capital/loans, marketing, operations, management advice on best practices, and other aspects of running a small business. Cheryl?s 15 years working as a small business lender helps her educate her clients on how banks underwrite a loan and work with them on their financial forecasting and their written plan that supports the loan request. She understands the process and the struggles of starting and running a business from her own experience running a small business while she was raising a family. The MSBDC works with for-profit businesses
