Public Policy Series sponsored by Mt. Wachusett Community College
We will be joined by Senator John Cronin. Senator Cronin representing the Worcester-Middlesex District {Berlin, Bolton, Clinton, Fitchburg, Gardner, Lancaster, Leominster, Lunenburg, Sterling, Townsend, Westminster}.
As a former Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army and combat veteran, John has spent his entire career in public service to the country. John is running for State Senate to continue to lead, to serve, and to fight—this time for the future of the 11 cities and towns in the Worcester and Middlesex District.
John was born in Leominster and raised in Fitchburg and Lunenburg. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and commissioned as an Army Officer in 2013. The formative experience of John’s life was leading infantrymen during his two tours on the front lines in Afghanistan. The soldiers in John’s company taught him what it takes to collaborate and accomplish tough missions: integrity, humility, vision, and accountability—attributes John will bring to bear for the District as State Senator.
After being honorably discharged from the Army as a Captain, John began work at the Harvard Law School Legal Services Center working with professors and students to provide legal advocacy to indigent veterans. Currently, he is completing his Juris Doctor at Suffolk Law in the evening while he campaigns full time.
